The species of Nemomydas Curran occurring in the southeastern United States are reviewed. Three valid species are recognized: N. desideratus (Johnson), N. jonesii (Johnson), and N. melanopogon (Steyskal) (= N. lara Steyskal, New Synonym). The female of N. desideratus is described for the first time.
