I am the Research Entomologist for Diptera at the Smithsonian NMNH where my work is focused on deciphering the diversity and evolutionary history of flies. The taxa I primarily work on are Apioceridae, Asilidae, and Mydidae (#asiloidflies) as well as Orthorrhapha in general.
